This has now become our preferred way of preparing broccoli. Prior to this we steamed it. It’s far tastier and possibly preserves the goodness even better than steaming does.
The method is exactly the same as for kale chips i.e:
Salt & pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 175c. Take a large bowl and add some olive oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste and mix. Cut off the broccoli florets and add to the bowl. Toss/mix the florets in the oil until well covered. I use my hands for this. Take a baking tray and cover in a sheet of baking paper. Scatter the kale evenly on the tray. Place in the oven, middle shelf for approx 15 mins. Remove when crispy, NOT burnt!
