Last week, Dr. Andreas Eenfeldt, aka DietDoctor, asked if I would mind having my story & blog featured on the DietDoctor website. For those who have been living under a rock for the last few years, DietDoctor is now probably the largest lo-carb website in the world with over 2 million visits/ month. Sure enough, the article was published this last week-end (see link at the end of this post..).
Those who have read my story know why I started this blog; to try and spread the word about LCHF or LIHF (Low Inflammation, High Fat) as I believe it should more accurately be called. I had no expectations whatsoever when I started and it served mainly as a diary and record for myself of what I was doing. And there it sat for a couple of years, largely unnoticed in a veritable ocean of diet blogs. Finally, after 3 years or so of blogging and 4 yrs of lo-carb living, I am proud to say that my little blog is finally beginning to stand the test of time! The message is slowly getting through..
There is also a link to my blog on the DietDoctor blog page here. So you can now follow my blog either by subscribing for FREE via this website OR by following the blogs section at DietDoctor. After all this time, it’s hard to believe that my humble blog is up there with all those doctors, professors and other subject-matter experts, but there it is! People are now watching and so I will have to up my game. I have absolutely no problem with that. In fact, I want that! It’s what keeps me on my toes and motivates me to do even more, to go further and to be even better at what I do!
My good friend Alex, the doctor mentioned in the article, once told me, “Nick, you should have been a doctor”. Maybe, maybe not, but running this blog, being part of the solution & not the problem, and finally getting some recognition for all the hard work I have put into it comes as a very nice “second best”;)
Looking forward to writing many more posts!

So happy for you Nick! Your journey to health is really inspiring and so well documented. Your story proves once again that LCHF lifestyle works and there is much more than losing weight to it. Thanks for sharing with all of us. Keep those posts coming 🙂
Thanks Zoe! Your comments are most welcome and drive me on to do more! Good luck with your own blog as well. I REALLY think you’re onto something there 😉
Congrats! I joined their site last month. The more we spread the word, the more people can heal from modernised life.
Thx Ayah. Your comments are much appreciated & from what I read you seem to be doing REALLY well yourself 👍 Forwards & onwards.. The truth WILL prevail, it ALWAYS does in the end.. 😉👌🏼
