[Sticky] Male, 57, with elevated blood sugars - 6% HbA1c
This is an interesting one from a recent online consult, see attached.
The blood sugars are clearly the main issue here.
Since last year HbA1c was a v healthy 5.3%, and all other liver functions were also OK, I am pretty confident that this is a transient effect [no hysteresis] due to stress and overwork, rather than anything else - by his own admission, he has had a very stressful year working from home; who hasn't! Diet has been pretty LI/carnivore throughout.
Initially, I've recommended some simple lifestyle changes to avoid stress and re-test after 30 days to see if there have been any changes. Will post results as soon as I have them.
